Sourdough Chicken Nuggets
This recipe is super delicious, nutritious and we're pretty confident it will be a big hit with your kids!
As a from-scratch, ingredient household, any meal that takes 30 minutes or less is a winner! These nuggets are very easy to throw together, and goes great paired with some salad and chips. They are coated with sourdough, eggs, freshly milled flour and Prime seasoning, so are loaded with amazing nutrients. Real ingredients, tasting real good!

Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup whole wheat sourdough starter (if in need, get some of ours here)
- 2 pasture-raised eggs
- 1 cup freshly milled flour (we love using our wheat or khorasan)
- 2 tsp Prime Seasoning
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tablespoon ghee / choice of oil for frying
Method:
- Cut up 6 chicken thighs into 1” cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup sourdough starter & 2 eggs.
- Dump chicken cubes into bowl, and toss to coat chicken in the batter.
- In a seperate bowl, mix 1 cup freshly milled flour, 2 tsp prime, 2 tsp salt. Coat each chicken cube, and set aside on plate.
- Heat up 1 tablespoon of ghee or your choice of oil in a cast iron pan.
- Fry chicken nuggets in pan until golden, then flip. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Serve & enjoy!
