The Why Behind Sunny Mill
Sunny Mill was born from a desire to reconnect with the way things used to be — back when flour was fresh, local, and full of life. Before industrial milling, most communities would have a miller. People would take their grains to the mill to be ground into flour just before baking, knowing that flour was best when used fresh. After learning this, we went searching for freshly milled flour nearby, but there was no such thing. We decided to invest in a stoneground mill and started milling flour — and we haven’t looked back since. Now, we're sharing it with others who want to bake with flour the way it was always meant to be.
